Commission and Payout Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

These documents are initial MVP templates for transparency only. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.

Overview

This policy explains how DG Timepieces applies marketplace commission and seller payouts for agent/seller listings. Checkout for customers may not display internal commission lines; this page is the public reference for sellers and interested parties.

Commission Rate

For qualifying agent/seller listings, DG Timepieces commission is 10% of the gross sale amount agreed at checkout or as otherwise confirmed. The seller payout is 90% of that same gross sale, before taxes or third-party fees unless stated otherwise in writing.

Agent/Seller Listings

Listings created and sold by agents or independent sellers through the Platform are generally subject to the 10% / 90% split above, after payment confirmation and internal review.

Admin-Owned Listings

Watches owned, sourced, or listed directly by DG Timepieces as admin inventory may not be subject to seller commission in the same way. Those transactions are settled according to internal accounting and any separate written agreement.

Example Calculation

For an agent/seller listing:

  • Gross sale: ₱1,000,000
  • DG Timepieces commission (10%): ₱100,000
  • Seller payout (90%): ₱900,000

Rounding, currency conversion, processor fees, or taxes may adjust the final settled amounts; any material difference will be explained on statements or payout notices.

Payout Timing

Payout is released only after payment confirmation from the gateway or bank, successful fulfillment where applicable, and internal review. Timing may vary by payment method, weekends, holidays, or compliance holds.

Payout Statuses

You may see one of the following statuses in tools or communications:

  • pending — awaiting sale completion or verification
  • processing — payout initiated through finance rails
  • paid — funds released per instructions on file
  • held — temporarily paused (see below)
  • cancelled — no payout due (e.g., voided sale)
  • not_applicable — commission model does not apply to this line item

Held or Delayed Payouts

DG Timepieces may hold payouts during disputes, suspected fraud, incomplete documentation, chargebacks, buyer/seller issues, or regulatory requests. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve holds promptly.

Refunds and Cancelled Orders

If an order is refunded or cancelled before payout, commission and seller amounts may be reversed or never marked payable. See the Refund, Cancellation, and Reservation Policy for customer-facing rules.

Changes to Commission Policy

We may update rates or procedures with notice to active sellers where practicable. Sales already confirmed under a prior policy will generally follow the terms in effect at confirmation unless law requires otherwise.
